I'm feeling pretty down lately about several things. Mainly my babies being so old. I know it's just a reaction to KJ hitting the double digits, but I feel like I actually want another baby. I think working in the nursery will cure me of that pretty quickly, though!

Yesterday was the longest day ever...clinical seemed to drag on. After we were done watching how not to treat the mentally ill (OK, I know that it's a state facility and they have, like, no budget, but I refuse to agree with their methods)...anyway, after that we watched the most boring video ever about anxiety--honestly, I've seen Meg Ryan movies that were more stimulating (for those who know how I feel about Meg Ryan movies). I ended up having a mini-anxiety attack of my own after listening to the guy who constantly checked to make sure the stove was off. It was all I could think of! On my way to pick up Ki I had to drive past my house...I was sure I'd find it in a pile of ashes. It wasn't, but I didn't like the feeling.

Anyway...birthday shopping gets harder they older the kids are. I got KJ a watch making kit, several movies (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (to share with me heehee), Godzilla, Phantom of the Opera, and Chronicles of Narnia), and Ki picked out a stuffed horse.

Can you believe it? I'm a mom to a pre-teen.
